Content warning: the “sexual abuse” tags refers to an adult vampirically feeding on a minor—no human sex happens, but it’s an intensely erotic and eroticized act and experience that qualifies it as such; this is my attempt at a Neo-Victorian narrative/pastiche in a Victorian Era/Westeros mashup and although it’s relatively minor the general vibe contains some Orientalism, colonial mindsets, ableism, fetishization of paleness/white skin, admiration for the vanished glories of civilizations that were brutal slave empires, etc.; lastly it’s a vampire story with all that might imply about consent issues, as well as specific themes of predation/underage predation/fixation on eternal girlhood or youth etc.

Unable to have more children, Viserys has named Rhaenyra heir. She has managed to put off marriage for herself and Alicent thus far, assisted by the fact that Otto Hightower has died. Once Daemon returned from the Stepstones, he and Rhaenyra began a sexual relationship.

The reference to Alicent's mother is based on Olivia Cooke's headcanon that she once caught her daughter and Rhaenyra kissing and put a stop to their burgeoning romantic and sexual exploration with each other.

Summary:

Alicent flushes. She is tempted to raise her head from Rhaenyra’s lap to look at Daemon again, to confirm his mulish, unenthused expression at finding himself between her legs was not the product of her imagination. “I do not believe I am your uncle’s type.”

“Which would be what?” Rhaenyra says, and now the surprised innocence is definitely an act. Unwilling to look anywhere else, Alicent glares up at Rhaenyra’s smirking face from her position in her friend’s lap.

“I do not have his preferred coloring, princess.”

“Oh, that. Well, it doesn’t matter what Daemon wants. Daemon does exactly what I want, and what I want is for him to get you off. He’s very good at it,” Rhaenyra says for the fifth time, and Alicent only refrains from taking off the finger that taps her on the nose at the first knuckle by the conciliatory stroke it assists Rhaenyra in giving her hair.
